Client: Shogun Japanese Steakhouse Project Type: Full Flash Website Completion Date: March 2009
In January 2009, we met with Shogun Japanese Steakhouse to discuss the development of a new website for them. The client wanted a full Flash website with external content management, something we had never done before. This is the end result of our efforts, and can be considered our first project as KuroCreative.
We have since done several follow-on projects for Shogun such as an e-mail subscriber list and image gallery.
Shogun Image Gallery
Client: Shogun Japanese Steakhouse Project Type: Photo Gallery Completion Date: June 2009
This was a follow-on project for our client Shogun Japanese Steakhouse. More of an extension of the site itself, it provides a method in which the owner can upload photos that he has taken in the restaurant for public viewing (and to prevent bogging down the Flash slideshow on the main site).
This project was a portfolio website for local photographer Tess Amoruso. The client called for a clean, simple layout emphasizing ease of use as well as navigability for the viewer. The site itself makes extensive use of JQuery, displaying several photo galleries (one for each series of photographs) as well as the client's vitae.
Diversity Institute Website
Client: Office of Intercultural Relations, Old Dominion University Project Type: Organizational Website Completion Date: July 2009 Primary Designer:Ryan
This website was designed and programmed by Ryan during his employment with the Office of Intercultural Relations at Old Dominion University. The organization's Diversity Institute program was in need of a website redesign, as well as a reorganization of content. The picture of Earth used in the site's header banner was modeled and rendered in 3D, and enhanced digitally.
Military Student Union Website
Client: Military Student Union, Old Dominion University Project Type: Organizational Website Completion Date: November 2009 Primary Designer:Ryan
This website was designed and programmed by Ryan in support of the Military Student Union of Old Dominion University. MSU, like the Diversity Institute, was in desperate need of a redesign, and Ryan answered the call. The design is simple and clean much like all of KuroCreative's work.
